Helix Charter High School has a proud athletic history with rich traditions ingrained in the foundation of the school. The athletic department is strongly supported by the administration, the school board and the Helix Charter community. Many varsity programs compete and perennially excel at the highest levels of competition in the San Diego Section of the CIF. The athletic department at Helix Charter includes 26 high school programs and 58 teams. Currently, 116 coaches, an athletic director
