Graduation Bling Night
Our Student Support team will explain about the requirements to get a Platinum Cap, Golden State Seal, Biliteracy Seal, Honors Cord, and Valedictorian recognitions. Families from all grade levels are invited. This event will be held virtually. ZOOM LINK HERE.
Trades Day Event - April 5 from 9-2pm
According to NPR, the White House's infrastructure plan that passed in 2021 will create 1.5 million construction jobs per year over the next 10 years. Many of these jobs are going unfilled because young adults are not aware of the trades as an alternative to the 4 year university route. That is one reason why Helix is planning our first annual Trades Day career fair! We will have over 20 different career vendors including construction trades, law enforcement, cosmetology, real estate and more, available to talk to students and explain how to get into their industries.
