Health Office
At Helix Charter High School, the well-being and care of our students is of utmost importance. We strive to provide first aid and basic medical care by assessing and addressing immediate health concerns. Within our scope of care, we will treat injuries or illnesses advising parents/guardians as needed or requested.
In the event of more serious injuries, we respond to medical emergencies for the purpose of addressing immediate safety concerns. We will endeavor to make contact with parents/guardians for medical decisions. If necessary, or upon parental/guardian request, we will contact 911 emergency services.
A supply cart is placed outside the entrance to the Nurse's Office and contains basic first aid items when a visit to the nurse is unnecessary. Students should only take what they need so there are sufficient supplies for others.
This office conducts basic assessments but does not diagnose, treat or make recommendations beyond our scope of service.
Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. We look forward to serving your health needs.
The Nurse's Office is located in the Administration building (number 3 on the campus map).
