Learning Continuity & Attendance Plan      

With the passage of SB 98, the annual Local Control and Accountability Plan was suspended for the 2020-21 school year.  It was replaced with the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan to balance the needs of all stakeholders.

Below please find HCHS's 2019-20 LCAP, the  Executive Summary which provides a summarized version of the LCAP. Also below is the Budget Overview for Parents document which shows projected revenues and expenditures for HCHS for 2019-20.

HCHS Goals

Helix Charter High School LCAP will focus on the following 6 Goals that are the basis of our school's Mission and Vision:

Goal 1.   Provide a Comprehensive Education with Academic Rigor: Creating a High Performing Culture that Equips Students to Reach Personal and Academic Potential

Goal 2.   Safe and Supportive Environment: Develop and Sustain a Safe and Supportive Environment that Promotes Good Citizenship and a Healthy Lifestyle

Goal 3.   21st Century Technology: Modernize and Systematically Integrate Technology into Helix Culture

Goal 4.   Expanded School: Expand opportunities for student learning via College and Career Outreach, Community College Dual Enrollment,  Career Technical Education, and other innovative educational programs

Goal 5.   Close the Achievement Gap Through Effective Collaboration and Innovative Practice

Goal 6.   Parent and Community Integration: Develop Parent and Community Partnerships that Establish Helix as a Community Center

  • Helps schools identify strengths, areas for improvement, and student groups that may need additional support. 
    • Includes state measures that apply to all schools and student groups, and are based on data that is collected consistently across the state.
    • Includes local measures that apply at the school level, and are based on data collected at the local level.
