During class
time all students need a pass to be in the
library. If you do NOT have a class, you will need to plan ahead
and obtain a Library pass from one of your current teachers. No
personal email during class time.
Computers are
only for research and word processing during classtime. Teachers'
classes who have signed up to use the library will have first access
to computers. Drop-in students (those with passes) will be asked
to leave if a scheduled class needs the computers. The Computer
Lab in Room 220 is also available from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
During breaks
or before and after school, no passes are needed. All students are
welcome to use the library and to check personal email.

Each student
is responsible for materials acquired while on the Internet. Downloading
inappropriate material will result in loss of Internet privileges
on all Helix High School campus.
Before &
after school, during breaks and at lunch, all students are welcome
to use the library to check personal email. However, there is no
emailing during class time.
Of course:
no games, no chat rooms, no instant messaging, and no inappropriate
web sites

subscription services (such as eLibrary, SIRS, CQ Researcher, CultureGrams),
library book catalog, Internet resources, encyclopedias, and much
more. (These resources are accessible from home through your Helix
Library Web Page: http://www.helixcharter.net/library/.)
- Word Processing,
Database/Spreadsheets, Presentation Software on your electronic
desktop.
- Equipment:Computers,
TV, VCR, Video Cameras (for Senior Projects).
