I attended SDSU when it was a State College, majored in Business Administration. Worked for a Bank for 20 years, stopped to have a family then got involved at Helix in the 1980’s with PTSA, Restructuring, and many, many committees, until I came on staff in 1990.

I love my job and the students here at Helix. My part at Helix is to make a difference, by making sure students further their education, by making available financial aid, scholarships, college information, applications, research tools, and make sure they make contact with the college representatives when they visit San Diego. I post job offers from our community, as well as issue work permits.

My favorite part of this job is the Senior Awards Ceremony at the end of the year, where students receive monies to further their education and a better future, knowing I had a little part in that future.
