How Does Helix Support Students, Staff & Parents

As a charter school, Helix has a significant amount of freedom with regards to programs, support and funding.

It is the goal of Helix Charter High School to improve student learning and our community. As a result, priorities and funding are utilized to support students, staff and parents in meeting school goals.

The majority of decisions and support networks are a direct result of trial and error. Through dialogue, staff work with the various stakeholders of the school to improve the levels of support for all.

Through improved support, Helix can ultimately better serve student needs.

Grade Level Teams (GLT)

Grade-Level Teams were created at Helix to support students, parents, and teachers as the student journeys through his/her high school years. Grade-Level Teams are administrative teams designed to create four smaller communities of learners and their supports.
