Grade Level Team -- The Structure Each team consists of a Vice Principal, Counselor, Academic Advisor, Senior Secretary and grade level advisory teachers. There are four teams in the school, one per grade level. Teams will stay with their students throughout their high school years rotating back to 9th grade upon graduation. Although teams have the freedom to structure themselves as they see best, many roles remain traditional at this time. |

| o The Vice Principal is the team leader and therefore is ultimately accountable to the school's principal for the success of the students within that team. The Vice Principal also responds to disciplinary issues. o The senior secretary provides clerical support to the team. o The Counselor oversees Academic, Career and Social/Personal Issues. This includes scheduling issues, academic success counseling, conflict resolution, parent communications and curriculum concerns. o The Academic Advisor focuses on attendance issues, data collection, and implementation of D/F list procedures as well as scheduling issues. o Grade Level Advisory Teachers work with a group of students they meet on Wednesdays to help build school connections, disseminate information, answer questions and offer support. |
